Harley's Cacturne made its first appearance in AG103 (Harley also made his debut in this episode). The Cacturne was with Harley when they first met May, and she remarked that the Pokemon was 'scary'. Harley and Cacturne then participated in the Izabe Island Contest, making it all the way to the final, before being beaten by May herself and her Bulbasaur. Also, in the first round, Cacturne used Bullet Seed to create a Skull and Cross-Bones on the field.
