Stun Spore (Japanese: しびれごな Numbing Powder) is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation I.
It appears to be a paralyzing counterpart to PoisonPowder and Sleep Powder, as the accuracy, contest group, appeal, effects, Japanese names and animation are the same or very similar. They are also usually learned at the same level or in a similar pattern.
Effect
Generation I
Stun Spore paralyzes the target.
Stun Spore can't affect a target that already has a major status ailment.
In Stadium, Stun Spore can't affect a target that has a substitute.

Pokémon
Venonat. Venonat shakes its fur and an orange mist is released from. Any Pokémon that gets trapped in the mist becomes paralyzed.
- Used by Aya's Venonat in The Ninja Poké-Showdown!.
- Used by a Venonat temporarily trained by Conway in Camping it Up!.
Venomoth. An orange mist is released by the flapping of its wings. Any Pokémon that gets trapped in the mist becomes paralyzed.
- Used by Koga's Venomoth in The Ninja Poké-Showdown!.
- Used by Chaz's Venomoth in All Things Bright and Beautifly.
Dustox. Same as above.
- Used by Jessie's Dustox from ??? to ???.
Vileplume. An orange mist is released Vileplume's opening in it's flower on its head. Any Pokémon that gets trapped in the mist becomes paralyzed.
- Used by Jessiebelle's Vileplume in Holy Matrimony.
- Used by a wild Vileplume in The Stun Spore Detour.
- Used by Nicolette's Vileplume in May's Egg-Cellent Adventure!.
