The Egg of the Prince

The book starts with an egg floating around in the ocean when suddenly, a submarine barrels through the water, the submarine of Phantom, a dangerous pirate. A metal arm extends out of the submarine and retrieves the egg. The submarine then surfaces, Phantom is just about to grasp the egg when a blond pirate wearing sunglasses steps forward and grabs it, he then runs off, shutting the automatic doors behind him. The blond pirate pulls of his disguise, it's Jack Walker the Pokémon Ranger! Jackie takes out a radio and contacts Judy, the head of the Ranger Base, telling her that he had recovered the Egg of the Prince. Jackie runs up to the top of the submarine, he could see his rescue ship nearby. Just then Phantom appears with Chatot, his pet bird, and his first mate Galen. Phantom sends out a Pinsir and a Parasect to catch Jackie but before they could Jackie uses his capture stylus and catches a Mantine. Mantine uses Confuse Ray at Pinsir and Parasect, then, with Jackie on its back it heads towards Jackie's rescue ship.
