The subject of this article has no official English name. The name currently in use is a fan translation of the Japanese name. |
Aaron's Step 2 Deck (Japanese: あらいモンステップ2デッキ) is a deck made by one of Dr. Mason's researchers, Aaron, in Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR! for the Game Boy Color. The main purpose of this deck is to tutor the player on how to deal with Special Conditions, such as Poison or Paralysis, focusing primarily on Pokémon with some and Pokémon, and the strategy emphasis on causing Special Conditions to hamper foes. As this is a practice match, neither player's deck is shuffled, making the card order the same each time the dual is played.

Just like Aaron's Step 1 Deck before this one, the player is not permitted to use their own deck against the Step 2 Deck; instead, the player is given a deck by Aaron to combat Aaron's Step 2 Deck. Like the first practice deck given by Aaron, this Deck also has no official name, so it will be referred to as Practice Deck #2 (Japanese: 練習デッキ# 2). and Pokémon are the two focuses of this deck.
After completing the match (win or lose), the deck cannot be kept.
