Akane Fujita (Japanese: 藤田茜 Fujita Akane) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime.

Biography

Fujita was born on January 26, 1993, in Shizuoka, Shizuoka, Japan. During her junior high school years, she became interested in voice acting after regularly watching anime, and also due to the fact that her friends were fans of anime and voice acting. In 2011, Fujita passed an audition hosted by the talent agency Ken Production and was able to attend a voice acting school in addition to a regular university. Her voice acting career began in 2012, and she started getting more and more significant roles as the years went by. She even became a singer, performing songs for a few anime series. Fujita became involved with the Pokémon anime during Pokémon the Series: XY, voicing Team Flare scientist Bryony.
