Basically What Tina Said. There Was A Sort Of "Staff Recruitment Drive" A Couple Weeks Ago, In Which We Received Applications From Everyone Interested In Applying That Saw The Announcement. The Results Will Be Announced Soon And Promotions Will Be Made. However, Most Of The Time, To My Knowledge, The Situation With Junior Administrators Will Be The Same As That Of Administrators: We Do Not Accept Applications, And Junior Administratorship Is By Invitation Only. --P o L i 19:49, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

The announcement for the first wave of junior admins will be made shortly. Any future appointments following that will be to Bulbapedia and Bulbagarden's needs, and depending on whether there are suitable candidates. —darklordtrom 21:58, 19 May 2010 (UTC)

Staff promote users who the feel have earned their powers and can put them to good use. There are a lot of things staff look at, edit count being one of them. Yes, you need to have more mainspace edits. No, having more edits will not automatically mean you can join the staff. Staff look at the quality of your contributions, at how well you follow our guides and policies, and other stuff.
