This card provides Energy.
When you play this card from your hand and attach it to your Active Pokémon, your opponent switches his or her Active Pokémon with 1 of his or her Benched Pokémon.

Cyclone Energy provides Energy. When you attach this card from your hand to your Active Pokémon, switch 1 of the Defending Pokémon with 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. Your opponent chooses the Benched Pokémon to switch.

The Skyridge print includes a Dot Code strip for use with the e-Reader and has the card ID F-54-#. The short strip contains a brief card summary. There is no long strip for this card.
Release information
This card was included in the Skyridge expansion with artwork by Shin-ichi Yoshikawa, first released in the Japanese Mysterious Mountains expansion. In Japan, a full-frame view of the Mysterious Mountains print was one of the PLAY Promotional cards available in Player's Club Continuation Kits given to people who subscribed to the Player's Club for a second straight season in 2004.
The Skyridge print was reprinted in the EX Unseen Forces expansion with a full-frame view of the same artwork and updated text, first released in the Japanese Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean expansion. It was later included in the Japanese Typhlosion Constructed Starter Deck. It was reprinted again in the EX Power Keepers expansion and subsequently released in the Japanese World Champions Pack. The latest print of Cyclone Energy was released during the Diamond & Pearl Series as part of the Stormfront expansion and features different artwork by Takumi Akabane. This print originated from the Japanese Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky expansion.
