Release information

This card was included in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Nakaoka, first released in the Japanese Space-Time Creation expansion. It was reprinted with different artwork by Daisuke Ito as one of the Japanese DP-P Promotional cards, made available through a McDonald's promotion in May 2007. It was reprinted again with different artwork by Nakaoka in the Japanese Dialga LV.X Constructed Standard Deck as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card. The Non Holofoil print was later included in the Great Encounters expansion, while the Holofoil print was included in the Eternal Time Theme Deck. This card was printed yet again as one of the DP Black Star Promos with different artwork by Kazuyuki Kano, made available in the Dialga Premium Box on August 5, 2008 as both a regular and Jumbo card. The regular print is Cosmos Holofoil while the Jumbo print features either Mirror Holofoil or Cracked Ice Holofoil. In Japan, this print was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in July 2007. A Great Encounters print with the Platinum logo was given away with the 2009 Burger King promotional Pokémon toys in June 2009. The DP Black Star Promotional print was later included in the Platinum Series Collection released in December 2009.

Trivia

The Great Encounters print erroneously credits Daisuke Ito as the illustrator, who illustrated the Japanese-exclusive DP-P Promotional card print. The correct illustrator is Nakaoka.

Origin

Flash Cannon is a move in the Pokémon games that Dialga can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond.
