Release information
This disk was awarded as a participation prize at each Gather! Battle Tournament event held at any participating store with a Pokémon Ga-Olé arcade machine between November 9 and 24, 2019. Entrants were challenged to defeat Battle Leader Regen and 1 of their teams of 3 Pokémon—those who successfully defeated 1 of their teams could select to dispense a "WINNER" version of either this disk or a different Giratina disk following the battle. Entrants who were not successful could dispense a non-winner version of either this disk or the other Giratina disk at random. All participants were given a Holofoil Ga-Olé Pass sticker featuring Giratina in its Altered and Origin Formes. Players achieving the highest score at each event were also awarded a certificate.
