Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Astral Radiance expansion, first released in the Japanese Battle Region subset. The Regular print features artwork by Shin Nagasawa, while the Full Art print features artwork by 5ban Graphics.
It was reprinted as one of the SWSH Black Star Promos with different artwork by 5ban Graphics and was available in the Divergent Powers Tins from June 17, 2022. This print was later released in Japan as a S-P Promotional card and was available as a winner's prize at regional Champion's League events held during the 2022-2023 season. These included the 2023 Yokohama Champion's League, held at the Pacifico Yokohama on September 17 and 18, 2022;[1] the 2023 Kyoto Champion's League, held at the Kyoto Pulse Plaza on December 10 and 11, 2022;[2] the 2023 Aichi Champion's League, held at the Aichi International Exhibition Center, Tokoname on February 25 and 26, 2023;[3] the 2023 Miyagi Champion's League, held at the Miyagi Industrial Exchange Center, Sendai on April 1 and 2, 2023;[4] and the 2023 Niigata Champion's League, held at Toki Messe, Niigata on May 6 and 7, 2023.[5] The S-P Promotional print was also available as a winner's prize at the 2023 Pokémon Japan Championships, which were held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on June 10 and 11, 2023.[6] To obtain this prize, players in each League were required to reach certain thresholds. Junior League competitors achieving at least four wins in the qualifying round all received a copy of this print, as did Senior and Master League competitors achieving at least five wins. The Aichi Champion's League meeting also hosted an Open League, which had no age restriction and was played using the Extra Regulation format. The target for the Open League was also five wins.[7][8][9][10][11] The Japanese print features the Championship Series 2023 logo on the right edge of the illustration.
