The Invisible Wall Deck is a predominantly Psychic type deck found in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Player's Guide. The deck is classified as one of the tournament winning deck, containing more rare cards and strategy than other easy-to-build decks.

Description

This is a Psychic Stall Deck with very low energy count. The objective is straightforward: Force your opponent to run out of cards.

The Pokémon are al focused to this "decking" theme with many serving multiple uses. Chansey puts in double-duty as both a "Scrunching Wall" in the early game when necessary, and a benched "Damage Sponge" once Alakazam is in play. Soak all of that damage onto your benched monsters (after being transferred there by Alakazam's Damage Swap Pokémon Power), just before wiping the slate with one of your four Pokémon Centers. Mr. Mime is unprecedented with its Invisible Wall Pokémon Power. Don't let the 40 Hit Points fool you. Mr. Mime will put up one of the strongest defense that this deck offers.

Mewtwo's Barrier should only be used in extreme circumstances, as the amount of Psychic energy in this deck is severely lacking More useful will be his psychic Attack Move for putting down the more dangerous potential attackers before they can penetrate the wall. This is also the reason that Kadabra is featured (along with Alakazam's dependence on him.) Super Psy can clear out more than one weenie opponent who threatens Mr. Mime's low damage requirement.

Use your opponent control Trainer cards wisely. The Energy Removals and Gust of Winds will disappear faster than you may want if not conserved for the most appropriate moments. The Item Finder will help recycle these when necessary, but the key to winning with this deck is patience. Lastly, Impostor Professor Oak can be used for the most advantage when your opponent is holding only 1 or 2 cards in hand. Be certain that you have the game in control however, as the additional cards they draw will open up many options to their attack plan.

You won't make any friends with this deck, but you can let that warm, cozy feeling of Winning console you.
