Release information

This card was included in the Dark Explorers expansion with artwork by 5ban Graphics, first released in the Japanese Dark Rush expansion. A Non Holofoil version was included in the Raiders Theme Deck. It was reprinted in the Dragons Exalted expansion with different artwork by the same artist as an Ultra-Rare Secret card, originating from the Japanese Dragon Blade expansion. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Dark Explorers print was made available in the Plasma Blast Single Pack Blisters, released on August 14, 2013.

Trivia

Origin

Dark Clamp's Japanese name is that of Jaw Lock, a move later introduced in the Generation VIII Pokémon games that Krookodile cannot learn. Bombast's Japanese name is that of Power Trip, Krookodile's signature move that was later introduced in the Generation VII Pokémon games. This card's Dark Explorers Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black. The Dragons Exalted print features the Shiny version of Krookodile. Twist Mountain is featured in the Dark Explorers print's illustration.
