In Japan, it was also in the Infernape Half Deck of the Entry Pack. A special variant was released as a participation prize for the 2007-2008 State•Province•Territory Championships, featuring the event logo. A gold foil stamped "Staff" version was also given to those overseeing the event.

This card was reprinted in POP Series 8 with different artwork by Kagemaru Himeno. The Japanese version was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in July 2007. In Japan, a Holofoil DP-P Promotional version of the Space-Time Creation print was available as part of the Trade Please DP event held at participating store chains from July 8, 2007 for as long as stocks lasted. Visitors could trade any 1 Pokémon card (including International cards and Japanese cards with a classic reverse) with attendants for 1 of 5 promotional cards at random. Trainer cards and Energy cards were specifically excluded from the trade.
