Release information
100 sets of this Tretta and a Charizard Tretta were made available as part of a quiz lottery prize following the broadcast of XY093 on October 22, 2015.
Trivia
- Only one of this Metagross can be used in Battle Mode at any one time.
- Metagross will Mega Evolve automatically at the start of Round 1 when used in Battle Mode.
Origin
This Shiny Metagross is based on Steven's Metagross from the Pokémon anime. Metagross wears a brace containing a Metagrossite when used in Battle Mode, and an image of Steven is present instead of Metagross when it uses an attack in Battle Mode. The Japanese Mega Evolution Special logo is also present on the artwork. Meteor Mash is a move that Metagross can learn in the games and is a move that Steven's Metagross knows in the anime.
