Oscar (Ranger)

Oscar (Japanese: パトリ Patri) is a non-player character from Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia who collects "exquisite fragrances". He will ask the player through a Ranger Quest to bring him certain Pokémon so he can collect their scents.

Oscar will first appear in Boyleland, requesting that the player bring him a Muk so he can collect its aroma. He will then appear in Haruba Village, requesting that the player bring back a Weezing and a Skuntank for their fragrances as well.

After this quest, he informs the player that he will leave for other regions in search of new fragrances. He will not be found after this quest.

That Smell of Muk Boyleland Oscar Reward: Poison Defense I'm a collector of exquisite fragrances. I have long sought the effervescent aroma of Muk to no avail. I have it on good authority that one was seen in Boyle Volcano. I must have its aroma! You must capture it!

Smell of Skuntank and Weezing Haruba Village Oscar Reward: Dark Defense So, you may ask yourself, "What is missing from Oscar's vast collection of fragrances?" Why, none other than Weezing and Skuntank! I implore you to bring them back to me. Both together, naturally!
