Release date
- Japan: December 25, 2003
Set size
There are 24 cards in the set: 20 Trainer cards and 4 stage cards.
Information
- Main article: Card e Room
These cards can be used in the Card e Room at the Phenac Stadium in Japanese Colosseum games; in other versions of Colosseum, this room is not accessible through legitimate means.
The Trainer cards can be used in two modes of battle: Panel Battle and Endless Battle. Endless Battle is only unlocked by defeating the most difficult Panel Battle Trainers. After all of the Trainers of a given difficulty are beaten in Panel Battle mode, the player will be challenged by a Trainer outside of the Virtual Capsule who owns a special Shadow Pokémon.
The stage cards can be used to change the virtual battle stage from the default Phenac Stadium stage.

Trivia
- In the internal files for Pokémon Colosseum, there exists data for two additional Virtual Trainers. The battles occur against Hunter Bit, and Team Snagem Gaku. These were promotional e-Reader cards given out at specific events, and in certain magazine issues and strategy guides. They are not required to unlock the three exclusive Shadow Pokémon, and are separate from the main set of 20 Trainer cards.
- The colors of the four booster packs may be a reference to the four versions of Generation I Pokémon games in Japan.
