Unlike previous challenge events, which featured a number of possible teams, the Super! Mega Evolution Battle only featured one, comprising Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, and Mega Rayquaza. Players who managed to achieve a victory against the team were awarded either this Tretta or a Primal Kyogre Tretta at random. Players who did not manage to defeat any Pokémon at these events were instead awarded a Sceptile Tretta. Players who managed to fill the Catch Gauge of all three opposing Pokémon were awarded the Sceptile Tretta in addition to the victory prize. A Rayquaza Tretta was added to the available prizes from events held during the Rayquaza Mega Battle. Participants with the top 10 highest scores in subsequent events following the World Hobby Fair were also awarded a certificate, though a different certificate was awarded at events held during the Rayquaza Mega Battle. The team present at each Super! Mega Evolution Battle is detailed below.
Further copies of this Tretta were later given to anyone who played on a Pokémon Tretta machine at participating Yamada Denki stores from January 2, 2016 for a limited time.
