Trivia
Origin
Professor Oak is the resident Pokémon Professor of the Kanto region. Professor Oak's Laboratory as it appears in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! is featured in both illustrations.
This card's effect and art is a reference to the concept of first partner Pokémon, and how Professor Oak provides the player and the rival with theirs in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, Pokémon Yellow, Pokémon FireRed, Pokémon LeafGreen, Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu!, and Pokemon: Let's Go, Eevee!.
