The Stone Ball is a special Poké Ball made of stone that appeared in Claydol Big and Tall. It is much larger than an ordinary Poké Ball. Its purpose is apparently to capture giant Pokémon, as a regular Poké Ball cannot catch a giant Pokémon like the Claydol that was housed in it.
The Stone Ball was made in ancient times. Its exact age is unknown, however.
