Brawly's Machop
Has its gender been confirmed? --ニョロトノ666 18:27, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
How about this picture !!!
Hey guys, i got a better picture for this article but first i want your suggestions and administrator's permission to replace the main picture with this new one. What do you say !!! Can i replace it or not? --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 09:32, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. That current image sucks. Just make sure to change the Art from RSE to art from anime. MaverickNate 14:46, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- But the current picture is a FANART. I oppose its use! --Maxim 17:37, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- This image is fanart. I look for a replacement image last night and I couldn't find a high quality scan of the RSE artwork so I didn't replace it. Even if using an anime image is okay this isn't even an anime image. --Kolink 18:26, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Kolink
- It's tough call, but I have to agree with the official art over the fanart. For the sake of consistency, and because it's official. --electAbuzzzz 19:05, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
regardless of which one is better, the art up is official Nintendo art, and therefor it stays. however, we could really use a better quality version of it. -- MAGNEDETH 19:16, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think the first version of the official art was better. Basically, somebody took it and made it darker, and that's what makes it suck so badly. R.A. Hunter Blade 19:20, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Alright, i was just trying to help. --♫♪Adyniz♪♫ 05:31, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Hi! I did a scan of PRIMA Official guide of Pokémon Emerald, so I got an higher resolution image but ... I think I don't have permission. What can I do? Fosco Corazza 20:26, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
PS: File:Ruby Sapphire Brawly PRIMAScan.png This is the image. The guide has only the upper body, so I used legs and arms of the prior artwork Fosco Corazza (talk) 15:48, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- I've uploaded your image over the main one. Thanks. --SnorlaxMonster 17:40, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Perfect, but in Brawly's page I don't see the new artwork yet, I have to click on it tu see the new one ... is this normal? Fosco Corazza (talk) 11:57, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Sometimes the cache takes a while to update. --SnorlaxMonster 13:42, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- I thought it so, but I checked on different PCs (two of them never visualized the Brawly Page) and there is the old image ... Fosco Corazza (talk) 14:10, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

- Ah ok! - Fosco Corazza (talk) 14:52, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Could this take ... more than ten days? -- Fosco Corazza 09:40, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Machop's Moveset in Emerald
I'm replaying Emerald right now, and I noticed that the moveset here is wrong. Machop has used Low Kick against me, but it is not listed in the moveset here. It has also used Bulk Up and Karate Chop, so I don't know whether Leer or Seismic Toss is wrong. SkittyLover116 20:33, 4 August 2011 (UTC) SkittyLover116
New artwork
I found Brawly's new artwork from OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire on the official Pokémon website. Here it is.
I don't know if this is useful in anyway, I just happened to run into it today.

Overworld sprite
In Generation III, Brawly has two different overworld sprites. The same goes for Flannery and the female Cooltrainer:

Items
In Pokémon Emerald, Brawly possesses two Super Potions. Should this information be added to the page? I wonder if it should be added as a field to the battle templates, even. --Felthry (F.K.A. Xolroc) (talk) 14:18, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Fun fact
Brawly's gym battle can be skipped in Ruby and Sapphire, until the Pokemon League. Not sure whether you can do the same in Emerald, nor Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, although I'll check the latter later. (Do you know...The Muffin Man? (talk) 10:37, 8 September 2017 (UTC))
- It's already mentioned in the Dewford Gym's trivia section, where it is relevant. Also, you can't battle Norman without getting the first four badges.--ForceFire 11:25, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
