Read this commercial metaphorically rather than literally
Okay, so this page is covering something really weird. As written, the article takes every Pokemon appearance here as literally being a living breathing Pokemon in the Yokohama Convention Center. I think the idea here is more metaphorical. I think what this is depicting is that "with so many Pokemon fans in one place, the action is practically real." The final scenes have a transition that doesn't make much sense in a literal interpretation. Pikachu is falling from the sky because it is a represntation of the Pikachu plush that was thrown upward in the prior scene.
This wouldn't mean saying none of these count as appearances. They are moving as real Pokemon and therefore are real Pokemon in as so far as saying "A Meowscarada appeared in this". But this does mean changing the plot section to indicate that the actions occurring are representations of games, and that the Pokemon are imagined.
It would probably end up looking a little more like Celestial's Plot section, with an intro that points out the blurring of lines between the first fictional layer of people at the Pokemon World Championships and the second fictional layer of people competing in Pokemon battling.
