Gender

How are we handling Diancie's gender? It's explicitly called "Princess of the Diamond Domain", but if a Pokémon is genderless in the games, we treat it as such in the anime too. So does that rule apply here too, or not because it was called princess? The Meloetta that followed the group for a while in the main anime was given an explicitly female personality and traits, but it was never considered female because of it being genderless in the games. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 07:20, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

I think we go by "genderless, unless proven otherwise." I mean, Keldeo is a male, in the movie's dub, as well as by a Japanese source. Eridanus (talk) 07:27, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
We usually go by games != anime when it comes to genders. Just because a Pokémon species is genderless in the games does not mean we should assume it is genderless in the anime. So in this case, we should list Diancie as female. --SnorlaxMonster 07:42, 18 July 2014 (UTC)
On the matters of the game, some of the legendaries had genders (though for the gameplay purposes, they were genderless anyway), like Dialga or the Shiny Celebi. And I am fairly sure Pokédex 3D lists them as "Gender Unknown" or something like that, not "Genderless". Eridanus (talk) 08:14, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

Diamond Storm

In the scenes where Diancie was creating the diamonds and they were launched in the air, was she using Diamond Storm or was that still her ability of making diamonds? PattyMan 23:55, 5 December 2014 (UTC)

Images

Am I the only one who thinks this article is a bit too image-heavy? I don't see what the "Diancie in a dress" and "Diancie and Xerneas" images really contribute at all; they seem to be there just for fluff. If anybody else agrees with me, I think we should get rid of one or both of them. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 04:58, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
