Variations?

Could somebody add this to "variations of marvel scale" or something. This also raises a stat when afflicted with a status condition. I think poison rampage and a few others do this too. S and T 23:40, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Origin

I know most abilities don't have origin sections (probably because most, like Blaze for instance, are so freakin' obvious), but could the origin of this ability possibly be the Hindenburg disaster? They are too! The card has an attack that does more damage based on how many technical machine cards are attached. Drifloon & Drifblim have an ability which boosts their special attack when they're burned. If the move the card has were powered up by a burn (or any status effect, for that matter), it might seem more like there was some basis. But the card has an effect based on TMs, which are support items. That's a lot different from burns, which are usually (but not always) inflicted by the opponent. Who exactly translates the abilities for this site anyway? On Serebii, they've translated the ability as Heat Rampage; where Psypoke has translated it as Burn Rampage.--BradRepko 23:59, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

This makes no sense.

I did. All it says is that Overload exists as an attack on a Porygon-Z card, and it has absolutely no relation to Burn Rampage. "Raised"

Does anyone know by what percent Special Attack is raised when this ability takes effect? As it stands now, it's a little vague. --RiverAura 00:43, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Are we absolutely sure it's one level? The current phrasing might suggest that the special attack is increased by 50%; that's the way Toxic Boost works as well. Either way, the phrasing still needs to be changed to make it understandable. --Andy^P_K^M_N (talk) 12:00, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

PorygonZ overload?

Why does it say this ability originated as a TCG attack that has no relation to burns at all? I don't know a ton about the TCG, but the attack on the PorygonZ card says "Does 40 damage plus 20 more damage for each **Technical Machine** card attached to Porygon-Z." Technical Machines have nothing to do with status conditions, even in the TCG! And Flare Boost can only boost Drifblim once, unlike the Overload attack on this card.
