"Invented" Town
"It is also possible that this city does not exist, and that Ritchie was lying so as not to alter time" - I think it's just a stupid excuse to defend the Chronicles translators' stupidity. They made up Pokémon for several trainers and they also made up Ritchie's hometown, hoping that stupid fans would believe that it's canon. Just like the theory that "Jackson" was a nickname.
