I found in a very unreliable source that there is both a holofoil version and a regular version of this in the english version. *The spam filter won't allow me to post links, but I found them on the Troll & Toad webshop*, again like I said very unreliable source, but it got me wondering when I was shopping for some of these cards. Does anybody know anything about this? Since the article only mentions both version in the japanese release. thank. Donkey-er (talk) 11:05, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
- Troll & Toad tends to be a reliable source. With a lot of the old TCG stuff, we have to look at what exists and work out how they were released, and one of the best ways to do that is by looking at online stores like T&T. For Groudon ex and Kyogre ex, there actually happen to be three different versions of the two cards. Two Non Holo and one Holo. The holo versions were awarded at the Pokémon Ruby Sapphire Challenge tournament in August 2003 (not sure how though, I'll have to ask the Ultimate Pokémon Card Collector's Club or something). But the two Non Holo versions, one has the e-Reader bar and the other one has the e-Reader bar removed. One was handed out in America in Nintendo Power, and one was handed out in the Australian K-Zone magazine, but I haven't done enough research at this time to determine which.
