Project Moves?

Since this is a subpage of Heabutt, should it still be under Project Moves and Abilities?--Tom (My Talk Page) 20:14, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Special Trees in Gen II

Some articles, like Johto Route 35 for example, differentiates Pokémon found by "Headbutt" and Pokémon found by "Headbutt (Special Tree)". There is no explanation to these Special Trees on the articles on Bulbapedia and I don't understand what the difference is. Also the Pokémon that appear when I headbutt trees on Johto Route 35 on my Pokémon Crystal doesn't correctly correspond to the one's that are listed for Pokémon Crystal on the article for that Route. The one's I've found here (Headbutting for like 20 min) are Hoothoot , Exeggcute, and Spinarak Ledyba (I might have forgotten a Pokémon but I don't think so), and this is during night, if that would matter. I haven't tested other routes yet. TorNyan (talk) 21:44, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

That is odd. It looks like The Ultimate Pokemon Center has all the correct headbutt data (search the page for "Headbutt", or just move up a bit from the bottom). (It also explicitly differentiates the "special" trees: apparently they have a lower chance of producing a Pokemon when you use Headbutt.) I don't know if it'd be acceptable to just copy it all from there, though. Unfortunately, the only other option I could think of would be to examine a ROM yourself, but I really wouldn't know where to begin looking for the data (or even for a tool that'd read it for you). Data inconsistent with Pokémon pages

Some Pokémon are listed here, even while on their own page under #Game_locations there is no indication that they can be found by Headbutt. For example, compare: on Pineco#Game_locations (GenII) it says "Headbutt trees", but not the same for Ekans#Game_locations (except Crystal only). Does anybody know if one of the two is definitely correct? --Kalenz (talk) 17:26, 20 March 2015 (UTC)

Heracross location wrong

The Heracross location was wrong in this article. Heracross drops from the moderate encounters trees in Azalea Town, while ekans drop from the low-encounter trees. It is possible other locations are also wrong.
