The "don" in hippowdon's name could also be the common dinosaur suffix "odon" which is "teeth" in greek, due to how hippowdon's large teeth are emphasized and actual hippopotamus' exclusive use of biting as an attack. Teeth make more sense in this circumstance than the spanish word for lord. -I'll change it in a week or so if no one replies...

Strange thing I noticed
