Trivia
I noticed that during the nightmare motto, Yamper (Inuko Inuyama) and Mimey (Yuji Ueda) took the places of Meowth and Wobbuffet respectively, characters they both share the same Japanese voice actor with. Not sure how to word it but I feel it is worth mentioning in the trivia.--BigDocFan (talk) 10:47, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
- Not only that, but the episode had a background soundtrack from the pre-DP classic era, the Piplup intro and Dawn's "Daijobu" scene in the episode. I could be wrong, but I think this track hasn't been used since before Best Wishes.
- The episode had a lot of subtle references to that phase of the anime.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 11:52, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
Chloe
Honestly why can't Chloe be considered a main character at this point?? She's in most episodes, she's in the openings as much as Ash and Goh are. She just went on a solo adventure without Ash which no one but Goh has ever done I believe, not to mention when the directors of the anime talk about her, they include her alongside Ash and Goh. I mean she's done as much as the Alolan girls at this point so it just seems weird not to include her. Like what they need to add her to the title pose thing to be considered??RBK (talk) 09:05, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- Because she's not listed as a main character.--ForceFire 09:22, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
Well so what are the rules then?? Like I just tried to add that Eevee used a new move and it was taken out because she isn't a main character yet whenever stuff happens for her like a catch or her getting some items, it's included. Not sure why Eevee getting something doesn't count then?? I don't see how Eevee is less important then one of Goh's pokemon who appears like 5 times where as Eevee is in every episode she is. Like we have Goh's Golurk using new moves being added as a main event even though he's only done stuff in three episodes so far.RBK (talk) 09:54, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- How long has this anime page in Japan been updated? There are videos that are out of the air when trying to play. And the Master Journeys promotion video puts the three in equal positions.
- Also Chloe is present in all current anime posters in Japan. What rules does a character like her need to meet to be considered a main character?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 15:12, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- When they outright call her a main character is when she is considered a main character. While major supporting characters are mentioned in the major events sections, their Pokemon aren't if they achieve anything because they don't belong to the main character. In Goh's case, only those with pages gets mentioned in the major events section.--ForceFire 05:34, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, thanks to answering.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 16:36, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

Darkrai
Could Ash saying that Darkrai is strong in battle also be a reference to the movie, The Rise of Darkrai? If so, is this trivia-worthy? Champion Averie, signing off! (Need anything?) 16:46, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- Could be a reference to Tobias' Darkrai--BigDocFan (talk) 16:55, 27 October 2021 (UTC)
- I know, but that's already in the article. Yes, Tobias is a very noteworthy character, but the movie is notable too. Champion Averie, signing off! (Need anything?) 20:04, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
- Tobias was noted because Ash mentions Darkrai being strong in battle, which is him speaking from experience, i.e. about Tobias. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 22:05, 30 October 2021 (UTC)
