Spelling problems again

I've seen the spelling "Jessebelle" everywhere. In Official Pokemon Handbook, my secret file and... tadadadam... Closed Captions! I even moved the page at one point. But I got reverted (by Kuki whom we don't trust so much) because "closed captionings misspell Jessie's name all the time". But that's not a reason not to believe them. It's a PUN. It doesn't have to be spelt exactly the same as Jessie's name. Also, puns are often aliterated to make them sound less obvious. I've seen Jessebelle (without the "i") in EVERY merchandise that I've seen so far. So maybe we shouldn't act like we're wiser than official sources themselves and move the page back to "Jessebelle"? --Maxim 15:15, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Jessebelle/Jessiebelle

According to the book Team Rocket Blasts Off, her name is Jessebelle, without the "i". Did the book misspell it several times over or is the title of the article incorrect? AGGRON989 00:05, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

I agree, let's just move it. The argument why her name is spelt as such in the article is because official sources tend to misspell Jessie's name as "Jesse". This is obviously a stupid argument, as the spelling without the "i" is found in practically all official media. Let's not pretend that we're wiser than official sources. So I was all for the move, but I just then (after moving a bunch of images to match the page move) accidentally found a counter-example on Pokémon.com: http://www.pokemon.com/us/tv-episodes/season-12/episode-48-12_48-the-treasure-is-all-mine/ As far as I can tell, this is also the only instance of Jessiebelle's name on the site, and it is constantly spelled that way in that whole description. --SnorlaxMonster 14:46, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

So, I guess it's Ritchie/Richie all over again. But I guess we should leave the page at Jessebelle (as this is how majority of sources spell it - CC and several official books). Also, a certain secret file that my friend (who was helping with Polish dub) once sent me also has "Jessebelle". You don't have to believe in its existence, as I promised him not to give the file to anyone (I could upload a screenshot of the part that has Jessebelle's name if anyone really, really wants to see that I'm not lying). --Maxim (talk) 15:06, 18 September 2013 (UTC)

He helped with DP series. But the file I'm talking about has little to do with DP series. It lists all terms (all Pokemon, location, character, move, ability etc. names from the first three generation games. It also has anime character and location names up until mid-Johto). I've no idea why the DP dubbers were provided by such file. There's also separate file for DP names but it only has game stuff. --Maxim (talk) 15:25, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
