Hey, where would I put this? It's the promo flyer from the Gamestop legendary dog pokemon giveaway. I checked google and I don't see any complete scans of it. The closest I found was someone took a photo of a window ad, but only of one side.

I tried to upload a photo and it said I had to be an admin, so the scans are on tinypic. The links are to larger versions. I realized tinypic shrunk the "large" versions and you can't read the smaller text. Is there a way to upload them to bulbapedia to have the full high resolution pics?

I don't how to do this, but I think someone who does know should do it. When you type "2011 north american events" in the search bar to the left, it should take you to this page. Can someone make this happen. PkmnChmp5 05:49, 14 July 2011 (UTC)

OK, I got it now. PkmnChmp5 00:11, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Availability

"This Pokémon was available in Wi-Fi from December 3 to 31, 2011." ...was? PowerPlantRaichu 16:29, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

It's part of the template to save editing it twice, and besides, it'll be correct in a month. - Blazios talk 17:00, 18 November 2011 (UTC)

GAMESTP Celebi

I thought that gamestop distributed a Celebi sometime in 2011, using it's Trainer ID. The only celebi listed here is the WIN2011 one. ...is there a reason for that? Romnempire 19:10, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

This seems to be an error, especially since the Bulbanews link right next to it only mentions a GameStop Celebi. Fixed. Ampere (talk) 23:20, 18 October 2012 (UTC)
A GameStop with the OT GAMESTP was planned, but was removed and replaced with the WIN2011 one at the last minute. However the other one does exist using the original distribution cart. Lady Ariel 00:14, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
Replaced at the last minute? I found this and have sourced it in entering the Gamestop Celebi as its own entry (the dates match). There is even an AR reproduction of the Gamestop Celebi on hacking boards; of course, if not released per se, anyone working at a Gamestop could have downloaded it themselves as an exclusive before sending the device back and thus shared it with the hacking community, who came up with the AR code.
If there is indeed proof it was never released (that's what I go on, sourced evidence), then I suggest leave the entry but include a footnote that it wasn't officially released. CycloneGU (talk) 19:08, 11 December 2012 (UTC)
The reason why the Celebi is known to exist with the GAMESTP OT is because the distribution cart that contained the Crown Beasts and Celebi leaked over a week early. As for the AR codes, they exist because they are most likely based off of the wonder card that was on the leaked cart. Concerning the foot note, it is on the new event pages since the event pages are being redone. Also IGN is not a very reliable source. So the GAMESTP Celebi was never officially announced and distributed, only the WIN2011 one. Lady Ariel 00:14, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Ah, it leaked a week early (don't they usually? LMAO). Even so, the fact that some people got it proves it exists, so I still think the entry on this page with a note saying "This Pokémon was not officially released" before the Pokémon data would suffice. Clearly it's similar to the WIN2011 one but for the OT/ID. CycloneGU (talk) 00:32, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
All Gamestop distribution carts for Generation IV leaked early. Because there is no official dates for the Celebi, it would be best for the note about the ID number and OT being different. Lady Ariel 00:45, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
After more looking around, I found this. People in that post are clearly talking about having received the event through its distribution at a Gamestop store somewhere, so it seems some stores ran it without knowing it was officially pulled. Or did Gamestop actually distribute the WIN2011 one instead? CycloneGU (talk) 00:47, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
The distribution cart was changed at the last minute for unknown reasons, and therefore the only Celebi distributed was the WIN2011 one at Gamestop. Lady Ariel 00:59, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
So why are both date ranges being kept in this format? Normally when there's a footnote there's an asterisk that you scroll over to highlight; the February 21-March 6 range would be that footnote. Further, Gamestop (I think) is only in the U.S. (EB Games in Canada), meaning it was U.S. only; what was the distribution method for the longer range? I'd have thought that longer one was both U.S. and Canada if it was Wifi. CycloneGU (talk) 01:13, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
Please hold off on adding any further information regarding the Celebi with the GAMESTP OT until a decision has been reached by staff members. Lady Ariel 01:29, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
I wasn't, I am just asking about these things I'm finding out so that we can cover this completely one way or the other. =) CycloneGU (talk) 16:12, 12 December 2012 (UTC)
As an addendum to this, the this page does note the GAMESTP one. This is the type of thing I had in mind. Note I did not edit this, I accidentally stumbled upon it. CycloneGU (talk) 16:07, 13 December 2012 (UTC)
A separate page has been created to focus on Pokémon that haven't been released officially, such as this GameStop Celebi confusion. Lady Ariel 03:28, 14 February 2013 (UTC)
