Removal of DPS and Duration
Standard Pokemon mechanics in regards to moves does not carry over into Pokemon GO. It is fundamentially different. Even the type advantages are not fully brought over. For example, Earthquake will hit all flying type Pokemon. All the no effects seem to be removed...
Therefore I disagree with the removal of DPS and Duration. It is not given to us but we can observe it in action. And with the sheer lack of information given to players about what moves are best besides the damage and type removing what little good unique or useful contribution this page had has just killed off completely any reason for anyone to visit this page now.
I was linked this page because of the contribution to DPS and the duration of the attacks. I favourited it because is massively important to know in game.
Pokemon GO should not be expected to follow the same rules as it's other turn-based games. It is a completely different game with different move mechanics that NEED to be represented to make up for the lack of turn-based combat. - Just noticed the talk page here, and I'll actually need to agree with the post above me; it was the combination of move duration and DPS information that first brought me here, but I've pretty much stopped using this page as a reference anymore since that information was been removed. While I did add some of the numbers for the new powers of moves in the recent update, that was more out of habit than any indication of how much I use this page -- its value as reference material or an overview page feels significantly lower for me without those DPS columns, and I've actually taken to consolidating my own private notes rather than using this page now.
