Unless this ruling has been reversed:
Q. If I level up a Basic Pokemon, is it still considered a Basic Pokemon?
A. Yes, the Lv.X Pokemon has the same evolutionary stage as the card beneath it. (Jul 10, 2008 PUI Rules Team)
then the comment about using Scramble Energy for Palkia [G] and Palkia [G] LV.X is mistaken. I was overzealous and deleted the entire comment before reverting it and simply removing the part of the comment that was incorrect based on actual rulings (I don't recall if the deck played Scramble Energy or not).
I also noticed the beginning hadn't been updated since this deck was still hoping for a comeback that never happened. I did my best to fix that as well.
