Talk:Lost Hotel
Encounter Rates
I was hunting for Metal Coats, so I decided to record 100 encounters, and I found 25 Klefki, 23 Litwick, 17 Magneton, 16 Pawniard, and 19 Electrode. I know percentages are supposed to wait for a data dump (which I'm a little surprised isn't here yet), but I'm going to at least change it to Common/Common/Uncommon/Uncommon/Average rather than Average/Average/Average/Average/Average. I hope that's all right; I've been making some stupid edits lately. -- EnosShayremtalk 04:47, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
- Surprised to not see it here yet? 3DS is far harder to hack than any previous console Pokémon has been on. We're limited in this degree. (Probably the greatest feat done so far would be that guy who allegedly discovered 3 event legendaries, plus Lati@s megas; though because of everything, we can't confirm if they're real or not). Legendary Skater/Japanese name
If anyone might wonder about where the "Boss" is called "Twirling Whirldwind" (like I just did for a while) here's where: after you learn the Cosmic Flip, both the Punk who was originally blocking your way to the Boss and the Roller Skater by the stairs leading out to Route 15 will refer to him as the Twirling Whirlwind.
There's also a Monsieur in Roller Cafe who calls him the "Dancing Whirlwind", and I happened to find a Japanese video of the same Monsieur and it says 踊るつむじ風 for his name, which could feasibly be turned into "Twirling Whirlwind" too. So that makes me wonder if perhaps his name in the Lost Hotel is an alternate translation of this same name, but I haven't seen a Japanese video that shows his alias (and it's kind of unlikely that most people making videos would talk to those NPCs in the right circumstances). At any rate, maybe this will help spur someone with the Japanees games to try to confirm his Japanese "name". Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:45, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
- I asked bluesun to check, and apparently the Route 15 exit punk uses ダンシングトルネード (Dancing Tornado) and and the punk blocking the way to the boss calls him 踊る つむじ風 (Dancing Whirlwind/Tornado). --SnorlaxMonster 06:35, 2 June 2015 (UTC)
Found a Garbodor on Tuesday
I'm playing Pokemon Y, I checked the date on the save screen and it is 10/27/2015 just after 09:00, this was in the second trash can I checked today, the one west of the Punk Couple on the Route 15 side.

- That's right. That trash can doesn't change on Tuesday. It's only the others that become special. Tiddlywinks (talk) 13:30, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
Trash Can Rates
In mid 2020, I did some statistics for the trash cans in the Lost Hotel. Here are my results. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jsT46JXqhkbXNEiiG9DNjjYx3l6xZG3r/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=111311770468121912345&rtpof=true&sd=true DrLamentation (talk) 21:36, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
