Talk:Mable
Name meaning
"Momiji" (Japanese) refers to the Japanese maple, Acer japonicum. "Mable" (English) refers to the maple, also in the Acer genus. "Myosotis" (French) refers to the Myosotis genus, or the forget-me-nots. (It may also refer to Antoine Guillaume Carlier's nymph of the same name in his short story "The Fairy of the Waters".) "Magnolia" (German) refers to the Magnolia genus. "Martynia" (Italian) refers to the Martynia genus, or the cat's claw. "Melisa" (Spanish) refers to the Melissa genus, which includes the lemon balm.
Out of all of her names, only "Myosotis" references her signature color. Arpha (talk) 21:22, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
In Spanish, Mable is Melia, not Melisa. You can see it in this page. Regards. --Gtasp (talk) 09:15, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
