The Ruins of Alph

The Ruins of Alph isn't about any legendary Pokémon --Combee123 (tAlk) 23:20, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Snowpoint Temple

Why is the Snowpoint Temple legend here if all the other Sinnog myths have their own article? T a r o m o n 17:55, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Whirl Islands

can i add the myth of lugia and the whirl islands? its a story about how the whirl islands got formed, so i think it fits the bill. Arrchec 03:46, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Unova

Why are the Unova myths not in this article? ZMT123 03:40, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

Because from the looks of it the article is very outdated. Feel free to add any information you know though. --Pokemaster97 03:42, 5 January 2012 (UTC)

It is also missing Hoenn myths. Yes, this article needs lots of attention.

Person above, please put two colons (:) in front of your comment, as well as four tildes (~) at the end. Sperg (talk) 02:12, 5 January 2020 (UTC)

Hoenn

Shouldn't the hoenn primal reversion myth be in the (missing) generation VI section? Or should we re-organise this article so it is by region? PartHunter (talk) 11:45, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Where's Kalos?

Like seriously. Trainer Yusuf (talk) 14:17, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

Well, if you may, please feel free to edit the page on your own instead of relying on others. If you don't have proper information to add, then that's another thing. Harryghost (talk) 15:24, 25 May 2016 (UTC)

A navigation template

How about we add the Legenadary Pokémon template at the end of this page and include this page on that template? --Raltseye prata med mej 05:30, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

Galar lore

Should we continue on the Gen VIII section? As of now, not too much is known about it, but if anyone could please add anything they know to this, I would highly appreciate it. Thanks to Jacob for adding the main section.

This article seriously needs more attention. Anyway, please add to the gen 8 secton. Thanks! - Sperg (talk) 23:00, 5 January 2020 (UTC)

Myth transcripts

Currently, the Sinnoh myths are transcribed directly from the games, where as other myths with similar cases generaly aren't, insted being summarized and interpreted on this page. Would be of interest to also or instead have the myths of other games treated the same way as the Sinnoh ones? WOLKsite (talk) 12:32, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

The "Sinnoh myths" article is less about the mythology of Sinnoh itself and more about cataloguing some of the various texts throughout Diamond and Pearl. But, for what it's worth, this article is not short on direct quotes either. --celadonk (talk) 02:51, 16 February 2021 (UTC)

Move Article to "Stories involving Legendary and Mythical Pokémon"

I think we should move this article to "Stories involving Legendary and Mythical Pokémon".Mew07777 (talk) 19:53, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

If no one objects the movement of this article I will move this page to "Stories involving Legendary and Mythical Pokémon".Mew07777 (talk) 01:30, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
Just because there is no response doesn't mean you can just do what you want, wait for a consensus. I don't have any particular opinion about this. Either names are perfectly fine for the article.--ForceFire 07:36, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
I agree with moving the article, unless we make a page for stories involving mythical Pokémon the inclusion of mythical Pokémon is a good idea. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (talk) 16:32, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
I think that if Mythical Pokémon do not get their own page about stories involving them than this page should include them, also "Stories" is less ambiguous than "Myths and Legends" which is why I would prefer "Stories" over "Myths and Legends". Mew07777 (talk) 18:47, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
The introductory sentence of this article is: "Throughout the Pokémon world, many ancient myths have been recorded about Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.". If the introductory sentence of the article mentions Mythical Pokémon and stories about Mythical Pokémon are included in the article (such as the Meltan and Melmetal myth), why aren't Mythical Pokémon also in the title? Mew07777 (talk) 22:36, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
I decided just to move this page to "Myths and legends involving Legendary and Mythical Pokémon" instead of "Stories involving Legendary and Mythical Pokémon". Mew07777 (talk) 00:46, 8 March 2022 (UTC)

Reorganize article by region instead of generation

This article would be benefited by being organized by region instead of generation. Myths and legends added in remakes like ORAS with Primal Revision and premakes like Legends Arceus with ancient Sinnoh would better fit into this article if it were sorted by region. Can I have permission to reorganize the article? Mew07777 (talk) 20:01, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

I think that would be a great idea, the only unforeseen problem may have been the fact that there are some Pokémon from unknown regions but we could just make a section titled: "Unknown regions". Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm (talk) 17:20, 11 December 2021 (UTC)
The only story I see that would fall under the "Unknown Regions" section would be the Meltan and Melmetal story. Mew07777 (talk) 19:01, 2 January 2022 (UTC)
I was reading through this article and in the Generation III section it has a subsection called "Super-ancient Pokémon" and it almost exclusively includes information from Generation VI Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games like how Groundon and Kyogre have primal forms and that Rayquaza has a Mega Evolution. This information shouldn't be in the Generation III section if it wasn't added until Generation VI, I assume this information was bunched together with the other information on the Hoenn legendaries for the sake of convenience. I feel like combining the information was the correct choice, but it doesn't make sense if the information is sorted by generation instead of region. - unsigned comment from Mew07777 (talkcontribs)
So, should we reorganize the article? I made a userspace article testing how this article would look if it was sorted by region here: User:Mew07777/Myths and legends involving Legendary Pokémon reorganized by Region. Mew07777 (talk) 03:40, 6 January 2022 (UTC)

Kanto

There aren't any stories involving Kanto in this article, are there any we could add? Mew07777 (talk) 22:11, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

Would Mewtwo and the Pokémon Mansion work? - unsigned comment from Mew07777 (talkcontribs)

Hmm that could work along with the myths on Mew.--Jacob9594 (talk) 01:50, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

Should Hisui get its own section?

Should we give Hisui its own section for its myths or should we include it in the Sinnoh myths section? The Hisui region is just the old name for the Sinnoh region, so I am not sure what to do here. For now, I am just going to change the Sinnoh section to "Sinnoh/Hisui" but feel free to change it at any time. Mew07777 (talk) 04:06, 30 January 2022 (UTC)

Super-Ancient Pokémon origins

Why does Bulbapedia believe Primal Groudon and Kyogre fought each other 3,000 years ago ??? Zinnia only says thousands of years ago, and nobody put any source, neither here or in the Super-Ancient Pokémon's page ?? - unsigned comment from Enzoul777 (talkcontribs)
