Physiology
Mamepato is a mainly grey, pigeon-like Pokémon. It has large, ovular eyes with golden irises, and a rounded head from which a spiky, crest-like arrangement of three feathers protrudes from the top of. It has a short, black beak, with a bulbous pink cere, with a black patch on the back of its neck and a wide heart-shaped area of lighter coloration on its chest. Mamepato’s black-colored wings have a thick grey stripe down them, and pink feet with black nails. (Note: a Wikipedia link to "cere" probably should be provided.) Steph 15:26, 28 June 2010 (UTC)

Ash?
With the latest preview today showing clips from BW001, is it worth putting in the "In The Anime" section that he catches one but hide it until it airs? --Manaphy1 17:20, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
- There isn't really any point. It can just be added when the episode he catches it in airs. Hiding stuff like that is generally done to make the addition when it happens simpler. Given that all the preview revealed was that he is likely to catch one, I just don't think it's worth it. Werdnae (talk) 20:21, 26 August 2010 (UTC)

Let us put it in there! I know we have a couple weeks, but it should be there. It is a guarantee! Ash captured a pidgey (pidgeotto), taillow and starly. Ash will catch a Mamepato! it just makes sense!--Pokemon26 00:47, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Pidove Diet. It might not eat bugs
As some of us may know, Pidgey and Pidgeoto was seen behaving much like a real bird within the first few episodes of the Pokémon anime. From eating a worm to trying to eat Ash's Caterpie they were true to their real world counterparts.
However, in Baffling the Bouffalant! a Pidove completely ignored a Sewaddle and instead swooped down to steal a afro wig (made of leaves) off of Iris' Axew head.
Now I'm not saying its herbivorous and wanted to eat the leaf afroor anything, but it clearly didn't attack or bother the Sewaddle. And yes, I am aware that over the years Pokémon have become less animal like and more Human? like.
Still the point is it doesn't/didn't see the Sewaddle as food. So with that said, should this be mentioned in the article? Yamitora1 (talk) 00:38, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
