- AFAIK that's totally informal. If there's an official term (the currency) that's actually called "Poké", it every bit deserves to be here. IMO there's no real merit for any disambig or redirect. - I do must agree with Tiddlywinks in this that Poké for Pokémon is entirely fan used and that Poké is the official name for the currency, the disclaimer currently used on the page is sufficient. On the matter if the page should be moved or not I do not currently have an opinnion, but if the page is going to be moved to Poké (currency) then Poké should redirect there and not a disambiguation page. --Raltseye (talk) 10:55, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
- The likelihood of people looking up "Poké" because they're after the currency is far less than that of people looking up "Pokémon" in its multiple meanings. Sure, canonical information has priority over relevant "fanonical" information but core games are also more important than spin-offs so the reasoning against the move is flawed. サトミュウ (SatoMew) 11:14, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

- So is "happiness". If the spin-off games came up with a mechanic called Happiness, we would still redirect people to Friendship because it's more relevant. It's the exact same thing here. サトミュウ (SatoMew) 16:02, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
- I'm having a hard time grasping the idea that people use the term"Poké" to search for the species so much so that it warrants a redirect. If people wanted to find the species, they would search "Pokémon". Having "Poké" override an official terminology in order to make room for a fan-term shouldn't be done imo. We shouldn't be encouraging the use of "lazy redirects", the species can be found easily by typing the "mon" at the end. --Pokemaster97 16:19, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
- People definitely use "Poké" to refer to "Pokémon" more often than they do to refer to the money in PMD, yes. And on Google alone, "pokemon mystery dungeon money" are the terms that yield more results. サトミュウ (SatoMew) 16:34, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
