Shouldn't this be moved to Cameroon or Cameron? Whatever the place is called in the dub? --Zeta 19:37, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

The Japanese name of Aldoran should be mentioned. Satosuke 17:57, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

This is an extremely weak article. Rota is the name of the town in the English dub, while the actual castle is called Cameron Palace. Aldoran is the hepburn romanization of the Japanese name of both the Castle and the town. The name of Rota, or any equivalent to it, is never mentioned in the original language version. The writing of the article is flawed as well. Someone needs to do a major revision of it. I would, but I have big exams going on right now. If nobody fixes it, or at least replies to discuss the article within the next couple of weeks, I'm going to take that as my cue to fix the article myself. Aldoran deserves its place amongst the other movie locations.
On a secondary note, Holon, the region spoken of in the TCG, seems to be located near Aldoran. It's very possible that Aldoran could be IN Holon. However, since Aldoran is an Anime-only location, and Holon a TCG-only location (and the only one I know of, besides Fossil Island and the Pokémon Jungle from way back when), they may just be cross-canon equivalents of each other, or a strange coincidences. If this article ever gets to a notable size to put in trivia, that would probably go in the trivia section. Some reasons why: both are shown to be directly north of Kanto. The Mirage Forest of Holon, featured in EX Legend Maker, is home to Mew, much as the Tree of Beginning. Furthermore, the δ Delta Species series was released in 2005, the same year as Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero - Lucario! (in Japan), and likewise in 2006 for America. Mirage Forest (EX Legend Maker in America) was released 17 days before the 8th movie premiered in Japan. This seems to suggest that the two are related, such as the anime and TCG developers influencing each other, as shown in the past, in EX Hidden Legends. Still, this would be the first time the TCG equivalent would arrive before its equivalent influence in Japan. Who knows? Satosuke 20:46, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
