Rowap -> Rowan Plant
Not just the word "Rowan". This is because Japanese loanwords tend to contract loanwords. This also includes Pokémon (ポケモン, pokemon, short for pocket monster). Another example is motorcycle = オートバイ = ootobai, derived and contracted from motorbike.
Rowap = rowan plant = ロワｯプ (rowappu), shortened from ロワンプラント(rowanpuranto).

Damage to Allies

The article's effect description has been technically incorrect for a very long time. I fixed it.

Per the actual in-game mechanics of the berry, I have changed the article's effect description to:
- When a Pokémon holds a Rowap Berry and takes damage from a special attack, the attacker will lose 1/8 of its max HP.
From the former, technically incorrect:
- When a Pokémon holds a Rowap Berry and is hit by a special attack, the attacker will lose 1/8 of its max HP.
(Bolded emphasis mine)
I added an explanation to the article's trivia section, but in short, for the berry's effect to trigger, the holder actually needs to take damage from a special attack, not just get hit by it. It is a niche scenario, yes, but also a more precise one. I also believe my fix has grounds to remain, as the Rowap Berry is listed in.
Also, I should mention something about myself, and I'll do it here because I do not have the permission to create my own userpage. I am a brand-new user on Bulbapedia, yes, and the fix to the article is my first edit here. However, I am not unfamiliar with editing different wikis; for example, I have been editing the English Wikipedia since 2018 under the username "Kingerikthesecond, and currently have over 2100 edits there. - I also believe my fix has grounds to remain, as the Rowap Berry is listed in the category for berries that activate upon taking damage.
- I tried to link the category, but it instead caused the sentence to be cut off, for some reason. I cannot fix my original comment directly either, as my edits are flagged by the abuse filter (understandable, since my account here is brand new).
