Is there any proof that Roxy (game) is truly named after Roxy (Let's Play) and that it isn't just a coincidence they share a name and Wooper. The Dark Fiddler - 10% Satisfaction Guaranteed! 13:37, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- I've heard that the lead translator for DP is a regular on the Something Awful forums; if he read the Let's Play, then I highly doubt it's a coincidence, especially with the presence of other internet memes and slang in the game. Pokémon Center Trainers
I think it is alright to have a page about these two, even though they aren't very relevant characters. But if they have their own page, shouldn't all the other "Pokémon Center Trainers" have their own pages as well? Suic12- (talk) 17:29, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
Names in other languages
This article still needs names in other languages. Whoever is a decent translator should step up to the plate and list the name in other languages as soon as possible. VideoGamePhenom (talk) 01:34, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
Deletion discussion
This article was created under the policy to have articles about characters instead of one-off Trainer Classes. With recent generations introducing more situational classes for unimportant characters (eg. Colleagues), this isn't really something we've chosen to keep following. Furthermore, Roxy and Oli only had a unique Trainer Class while the original Ruby and Sapphire called Gabby and Ty Interviewer which was corrected in ORAS. Ultimately unlike G&T's interview mechanic and appearances in multiple media, R&O don't have anything that makes them more notable than other Trainers, particulary the other rotating battlers from Jubilife TV/the Sinnoh Pokémon Centres (except the Something Awful reference).--MisterE13 21:41, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
