Scanner

You know, I am playing OR right now, and can't find the Scanner or fight Spiritomb. I didn't finish the game yet (just now coming to the Groudon Incident), so I think you have to beat the game for that. --EVguru (talk) 17:25, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

You definitely don't need to beat the game (I know because I got Spiritomb prior to becoming Champion), but chances are you DO need to deal with Groudon and subsequently get the National Dex from Professor Birch. —Andy^P_K^M_N (talk) 22:16, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
