important info missing!!

decent enough article, but it gives no hint of where the shards can be traded. i'd have thought this would have been an important part of the page, seeing as if you don't know where to go to trade them, it's pretty much useless!

i specifically came here to find this out, and it doesn't have the info!

i can remember someone (in game) saying they'll swap my shards, but i can't remember where. would be helpful if this info was added... Geeness 14:09, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Another Kind of Shard

Should Ice Shard be somehow mentioned in this article? I mean, after all, the move is called Ice Shard--KukiTalk 19:41, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

It's an attack, not an item -.- Dean
How about Moon and Sun Shard? I know they're a type evolutionay too, but still... ht14 22:57, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
You can do a "you may have been looking for" thing at the top of the page. --((Marton imos)) 23:05, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Platinum tutors

The move tutors in Platinum require shards as payment. Does this mean that shards are rarer in Platinum, or are they still just as common as in D/P? --Shiny Noctowl 20:07, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Locations

The shard trader in R/S/E is in a house on an island off the coast of Mossdeep city. Head west and a little north. (MaoDaAmargura 04:01, 30 January 2009 (UTC))

Thievery

I have stolen Blue Shards off of wild Clamperl in Sapphire, so I assume it is possible to steal the other shards from other wild pokemon. I think we should make a list of pokemon that can hold these shards. (MaoDaAmargura 04:01, 30 January 2009 (UTC))

Blue Shards from Clamperl, Green Shards from Relicanth, Yellow Shards from Chinchou, Red Shards from Corsola. I think. Diachronos 17:10, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Wow, that wasn't in there. I've updated with the held item locations and DPPt locations. Just need the overworld. Oh, and if someone can reupload those gif sprites in png format too, that would be lovely. — THE TROM — 20:29, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Generation V

I noticed the locations for generation V are listed in the article, but I saw no use for shards there. Isn't there any real use for them? If that's the case, shouldn't it be written there? Something like "Until now, there aren't any known purposes for shards in Generation V"? Obviously, only if there's no real use for them. If there are any, I guess it should be written. Gabriel Rocha (Diby esp) 00:16, 11 May 2011 (UTC)

The only real purpose is to sell them to the item maniac for $200 (rather than 100 to Poké Marts), but that raises the question of why you would buy them from Black City. --SnorlaxMonster 04:56, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Great Marsh (in Platinum at least)

There is an ace trainer that gives you a random shard every day in the front of Area 6 Great Marsh in Platinum, at least. ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 03:21, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

B2W2 Locations

I'm pretty sure you can find Shards scattered all over Unova in these games. So for "Location" in these games, should the articles just say "scattered around Unova" instead of "Dust clouds/Route whatever?"Dimenticare (talk) 02:09, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
