That Grunt with the Butt
I was wondering, would it be acceptable/a good idea for the Grunt with the swollen ass from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventure! to have his own article? Despite the fact that he is never given a name (Although I like to call him "Uranus" for simplicity, conformity to Galactic naming, and the lulz), he is clearly defined as a character and reappears throughout the series. In fact, he seems to be involved in almost everything Team Galactic does upto volume 5. (Of course, if an article IS made, something like "The Galactic Grunt with the swollen buttocks" would be a somewhat unwieldly title...) So, uh... Any feedback and stuff on the idea, put it here. --Sato 12:11, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yea, I guess that the character is notable enough. However, if the article is created, a proper name should be found. --Theryguy512 19:59, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
- That's the main problem though, there is no proper name other than simply describing him as a Galactic Grunt with a swollen butt... As I mentioned in my last comment, I personally like to call him "Uranus" due to the double pun with the planet and "lol, ur anus". Would Uranus possibly be a acceptable name for his article, as long as it is carefully pointed out within the article itself that he has no real name and that "Uranus" is merely a fan name? --Sato 04:57, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
- Well I believe that that would be okay, however, you should talk to TTE about it first. --Theryguy512 11:12, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

- Hmm, too long. Galactic Grunt (manga) or Galactic Grunt (DPA)? We have Pikachu (PiPiPi)...►Ҝəυzø8 13:23, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well with "Galactic Grunt (manga)" or "Galactic Grunt (DPA)", he isn't exactly the only Galactic Grunt in the series, even if he may be the only particularly notable one. Also, TTE seems to have given the green light to "Uranus". --Sato 22:46, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- I go for Uranus (DPA). Then we can put a note on the page saying that it's a fanon name, when it's really unnamed. That's what we did with lots of other things such as Zapmolcuno, right? (BTW, someone upload a pic of Hareta biting his butt. That's a historical moment in Pokémon history.) |3urn •57R1K3 22:59, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I've gone and created the article Uranus, making sure to note that he has no official name in the opening line, the image's caption and the trivia. Also did a new scan for the article as the Japanese volumes have plain white backgrounds for the images on their back covers. As for an image of him being bitten, I've got a scan of the English page here, if you wish to crop that or whatever and add it to the article somewhere, feel free to do so. --Sato 01:35, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

- Are they called Galactic Grunts or Team Galactic Grunts in game? --Landfish7 15:33, 27 December 2010 (UTC)
- Galactic Grunt (ie: You are challenged by Galactic Grunt!) Xxcom9a 01:35, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
- It's called Galactic Grunt in the games. So don't move it because you'll be renaming the original and correct names. --Pokemaster97 19:50, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
