Are we gonna add the whole redemtion thing? That's kinda important. PokemonTrainer7738 21:38, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Gengar's moves as teammate.

This may not be important, but when he is tagging along with the team, Gengar's moves are Leer, Taunt, Scratch, and Quick Attack. Could this be put in the article? Sneaking from page to page... It's the page-editing purple ghost... Gengarzilla! 17:46, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Teleport Gem

It is strongly implied that Gengar assisted Xatu and Alakazam in crafting the Teleport Gem that the player uses first to go to Sky Tower, and second to rescue Latias from the Pitfall Valley. Should this be included in the line about Gengar helping the player? Xolotl (talk) 15:55, 2 July 2013 (UTC)

Decides to Save the Player?

"Towards the end of the game Gengar strangely decides to save the player after defeating the main boss." Where in the world did this come from?

I am fairly sure that Gengar was attempting to drag the player even deeper into the netherworld, but ended up getting lost and accidentally carried him or her out. I even have direct dialogue from the game to prove it:

Keke! <Player>! Didn't take much to put you down! Serves you right! Kekeke! Now, what to do with you? I know! I'll drag you into the dark world. That'll do it.

Hunh? Darn it... I took the wrong path... This isn't like me... I can't tell which way is which... Keh! To heck with this. I'll just ditch you here... That's it. Good-bye to you.

This dialogue can be seen in any video of this part of the game, and it is the part "after the main boss" that is referenced in the article. If nobody is opposed to changing that sentence, I will do so. EpicDeino (talk) 23:08, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

He's acting. Gengar outright states that it's odd for him, so it's clear that he's trying to trick the player into thinking that he was dragging them further down. Ataro (talk) 00:24, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
