Spelling
So which spelling do we go by? The official site spells it as Xander, while the subtitles spell it as Zander. The official site has been wrong in the past, but I'm unsure of who to believe here. --PAK Man Talk 04:12, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- I think Ada's bit of a different situation...I'd say Xander only because it seems to come from some kind of actual name (Alexander).--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 04:24, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- I assume that the CC is done by script rather than ear. Why else would the CC have Zander if Xander is the assumed spelling for the name? ArcToraphim 16:55, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure that it's done by script; on other shows I've seen crazy things like completely different lines (once on The Simpsons, Bart throws a game console into the fireplace prompting it to say something like "I can still play! Extreeeeeme..." while the CC says "store in a cool, dry place...cool, dry place...")--Loveはドコ? (talk • contribs) 19:44, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- Recently, the official site was wrong again giving us names "Charleton" and "Charlene" for Roman and Kylie. But I believe that it was caused by PUSA spotting Roman and Kylie in game after doing the dub of the episode, and changing the names on the last minute (for no reason, because those are different characters after all. And the earlier names fit them millions of times more). But Pokemon.com is usually right. And we don't even know who actually makes the CCs. --Maxim 19:51, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- Pokemon.com isn't the be-all-end-all though. They make mistakes, and I'm for the CC spelling over their's anyday, because one mistake means you can't trust anything else so miniscule. CC should be the top scource, Pokemon.com the backup. ArcToraphim 21:32, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
