Tammy (EP249)
Tammy (Japanese: ナビ Nabi) is a young girl and a character of the day who appeared in I Politoed Ya So!. She is the leader of a Pokémon cheerleading troupe.
Her Politoed, nicknamed Bean, ran off after she scolded it for not performing properly. During her search, she stumbled across Misty's Politoed, after which Tammy decided she liked the latter more and hoped to use it for the upcoming National Competition. Meanwhile, Misty and her friends encountered Bean, though Misty was certain that it was not her own Politoed, which she later discovered practicing a cheer routine with Tammy.
After Politoed ran back to Misty, Tammy asked if she could borrow it, but Misty saw that Tammy was particularly harsh towards all of her own Pokémon, furiously yelling at them for every mistake. As a result, her own Politoed had become withdrawn and morose. Misty eventually called Tammy out on her selfish and immature actions. Tammy watched as Misty tended to her crying Pokémon, and she realized she had become fixated on winning as opposed to her actual goal of entertaining crowds. She apologized to her Pokémon, who forgave her.
Team Rocket later showed up at Tammy's dance school and captured most of the group using their cheerleading Politoed mecha. Ash, Pikachu, and Bean intervened, with Bean rescuing everyone before Pikachu used Thunderbolt to send Team Rocket blasting off. Afterwards, Tammy reunited with Bean and was pleased to see that it had picked up Misty's Politoed's own clapping rhythm.

Tammy has a Politoed nicknamed Bean (Japanese: ビーン Bean). It is distinctive from other Politoed by its red headband. Politoed is the main star of Tammy's cheerleading squad, where its clapping rhythm keeps the other performers in time.
It ran away from Tammy after receiving a scolding from her, and Misty later discovered it during the search for her own Politoed. She quickly realized Bean was a different Politoed because it wasn't its usual happy self. Her suspicions were proven correct when the group met Tammy while she was in the midst of practicing for an upcoming cheer competition. Misty's Politoed reunited with her before continuing to practice the cheer routine. During the practice, Misty noticed that Bean was all alone, with Tammy keen to use Misty's Politoed for the competition instead.
Misty attempted to cheer Bean up, but it continued to run away. Later, when everyone was trapped by Team Rocket's mecha, Bean intervened and blasted open the cell with a Water Gun. The battle against Team Rocket brought Tammy and Bean back together after she realized that she was becoming too focused on winning more than anything else. Afterwards, she allowed it back onto the cheer squad.
Bean's known moves are Double Slap and Water Gun.

- Main article: Misty's Politoed
When Tammy was looking for her Politoed, Bean, she stumbled across Misty's Politoed and mistook it for Bean. She took Politoed to her dance school and was quickly impressed by its clapping, which instantly made the other cheer Pokémon perform in time. Even after learning that this Politoed actually belonged to Misty, Tammy was still set on using it for her upcoming Nationals tournament.
After Team Rocket arrived, Bean returned and rescued them all. Bean's heroic actions impressed Tammy, and it had developed its own clapping rhythm, which proved to be equally effective. As a result, Tammy allowed Politoed to return to Misty's team.
