all of those moves are not variations of each other. waterfall and dark pulse have a 20% chance of their secondary effect happening while all the other moves in this template have a 30% chance of their secondary effect happening. 0danmaster0 (talk) 14:45, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
- Just checked this section of Move variations, and it says they all have PP, power, and accuracy in common, with a chance of a secondary effect for each. Berrenta (talk) 15:15, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
- but it isn't the same amount of chance. Therefore waterfall/dark pulse aren't variations of the rest of those moves. 20=/=30 0danmaster0 (talk) 16:21, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
- Looking through the variations page again, Aurora Beam has a similar issue. The percentages differ there (10-30% for the Aurora Beam variations), yet power, PP, and accuracy are the same for those moves. Crunch and Blizzard variations also have differing percentages, yet are similar to each other in a couple ways. I doubt the differing percentages matter, but we can ask a staff member to be sure.
