Release information
This puck was awarded as a prize to those who placed third in the regional Reshiram Cup tournaments held between October and November 2011, with two additional events held in March and April 2012 respectively. Top ranking players in each of the tournaments gained preferential entry into the Battrio Master Playoffs. The puck was later available as one of two optional third place prizes in the Reshiram•Zekrom Cup (the other was Snivy) held over the course of the Kids Games Festival in Golden Week. The events present at each venue hosting the festival depended on the 'Pattern' allocated. 'Pattern A' events held the Reshiram•Zekrom Cup and Kyurem Cup, which took place at Aeon Mall Atsuta, Nagoya on April 28, 2012; at Aeon Mall Aratamabashi, Nagoya on April 29, 2012; at Dynalecx, Aeon Ibaraki Shopping Center, Osaka on April 30, 2012; at the Mori complex of Aeon Mall LakeTown, Saitama on May 3, 2012; and at Aeon Natori, Miyagi on May 6, 2012.
The puck was made available for a final time as one of three optional third place prizes in the Pokémon Battrio Big Thanksgiving event to celebrate the game before its announced discontinuation in May 2012. The event took place at Namco Wonder Park Hero's Base in Kawasaki on June 3, 2012.
