Team Rocket's Secret Base is a cave in the Alola region, on Melemele Island, which the Team Rocket have claimed as their Secret Base.

History

The cave first appeared in First Catch in Alola, Ketchum-Style!, where the Team Rocket were first shown there after a wild Bewear had dragged Jessie and James there, with Meowth, Jessie's Wobbuffet, and a wild Mimikyu, that Meowth had brought along, following behind them. Jessie eventually caught Mimikyu before Bewear began to give them food. Later in the episode, Team Rocket tried to take back the Berries, which some wild Pikipek and a Trumbeak had stolen from the cave, in order to show Bewear that they were thankful for how nicely it had treated them, but were unsuccessful in taking the berries back.

In The Sun, the Scare, the Secret Lair!, Team Rocket claimed the cave as their Secret Base, due to the fact that they had all started to enjoy living there. James also caught Mareanie here.

In They Might Not Be Giants!, Team Rocket started to decorate the Secret Base, but were interrupted when Lana's Popplio and Ash's Rowlet had crashed into it.

In A Seasoned Search!, Team Rocket had finally finished decorating their Secret Base.
