This page is for keeping track of terminology names.
- Evolution chain
[1] blog
[2] Offhand reference, shuffle page
- "Mega-Evolved Pokémon" being used over "Mega Evolved Pokémon" (Note the hyphen)
- "Mega Pokémon" is almost never used
(That's all the hits, and the strategy article uses Mega-Evolved Pokémon too anyway).
- Shuffle referring to forms as "Species (Modifier). This doesn't affect Mega-Evolved Pokémon, who are presented as normal.
"Log in on ten different days during the period, and we will give you Pikachu (Celebration)!"
"Take on Froakie
(Winking)
here!"
"A limited-move format Mega Charizard X competitive stage is available!"
- The term "Mega-Evolving Pokémon" can be used both pre and post Mega Evolution. If you should use it for Pokemon that merely can Mega Evolve is indeterminate.
"A Mega-Evolved Pokémon will clear the board of all other icons to the right or left of it when you make a match of it."
"A Mega-Evolved Pokémon will clear the board of all other icons to the right or left of it when you make a match of it."
"Whenever you make a match of this Mega-Evolving Pokémon, it will clear all of the icons of another Pokémon in the Puzzle Area that is of the same type."
"Item: Mega Start Triggers Mega Evolution for your Mega-Evolving Pokémon from the start of the stage, without needing to fill its gauge. 2000 Coins"
In the TCG, the verb for playing a Level-Up Pokémon is "Level-Up" and not "Levels-Up". Not a joke, it's just like how "evolve" works. See Battle Tower:
"Whenever any player plays any Pokémon from his or her hand to Level-Up 1 of his or her Pokémon, remove 4 damage counters from that Pokémon."
UNITE Madness!
- quick battle is not capitalized.
Sub-Legendary
Pokemon Fantasy Team terms and conditions [10] "To form their VG Fantasy Team, Participants may select one Restricted Legendary Pokémon, one Sub-Legendary or Paradox Pokémon, one Pokémon from the Paldea Pokédex, one Pokémon from the Kitakami Pokédex, one Pokémon from the Blueberry Pokédex, and one Pokémon from any of the other categories besides Restricted Legendary Pokémon that has not already been selected.
